It is a nice sunny Saturday

My son Alan went home yesterday and I miss him. My other son Mike is out mowing the grass before we may get some showers here.

Today is the birthday of my brother Bobby. It is also the 21st birthday of my special niece Fran.

So a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both. Tomorrow my other brother Rodney has a birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him as well.

August is really a big birthday month for my family and friends. Have a great weekend.

Sunshine this Friday morning

Today I must finish the Overall Sam quilt. Just need to put the binding on,

I still have both my sons here with me.

 I will miss them when they leave and I am alone again.

We had FOG this morning

The sun will soon be shining. Should be a really nice day.

My oldest son will go home today. I will miss him.

I hope to get out and enjoy my screen house today. It is so nice.

We have SUNSHINE

Good morning everyone. We have sunshine. It is a day to get outside and enjoy this weather.

When I first moved here I was impressed with the sunsets that I saw in my backyard.

Must get birthday wishes off to some family and friends. It is a big birthday month for those I love.

It is a cloudy day but not raining ....at lest not yet.

I have both my boys here and that is so nice.

Back Home again

I am back after spending time with my sister at camp. The weather was not the greatest but I really enjoyed myself. Nice to get away to rest and relax.

I was pleased to see my sisters friends. I had not seen her friend Sally since their college days. I also met another friend of hers named Sheila. I already had met Brenda. So we had a ladies night.

Today I am waiting for my son to arrive from southern Maine. Then I will have both boys with me and that will be nice.

I took NO pictures at the lake because I had dead batteries in my camera. How dumb! !

It is Sunday and a cloudy day. No rain yet. It did rain overnight. The neighborhood is so green and very nice. My son mowed our grass yesterday before it does rain again.

Wednesday I will go on vacation for a little while with my sister. 

Then my son will be up from Scarborough to visit us. So  I will have both of my boys here.

The 23rd I will be in Harpswell to attend a wedding.

If I get some good pictures I will put them up on my blog.

I need to finish quilting the Sunbonnet Sue.
