We have sunshine

That always makes me happy. I am working on two quilts. One is TEXAS STAR and the other is a WEDDING RING. They are for my friends Beth and Nan. Beth is in MI and Nan is in my hometown.

It has been a sad time for our family with the death of my niece. So quilting makes me feel a lot better.

It is so pretty out with the sun and all the snow.

SNOW SNOW SNOW

We have snow everywhere it is very pretty.  We now have bright sunshine. That always makes me happy.

I have quilting to do today. I will be quilting this quilt for a friend

.We got a new internet service DSL and I have been playing on the computer.  Found my house here in Corinna on the Google earth or whatever.. We only have a couple thousand population. So I was surprised.

This is the quilt I made for my niece Lori Groom (Goldsmith). She died in a house fire in Scottsdale, AZ.

It is a sad time for us.

A sad day for me

I leaned today that my niece Lori died at her home in AZ. 

We had a very nice visit last fall. She and her brother came to visit with me.

I made  her a quilt  that she loved. 

Monday morning. A beautiful sunrise and a perfect cup of coffee. 

A day without SNOW. I know SNOW and COLD are on the way so I will enjoy today,

SUNDAY MORNING

I am perking coffee and I have both boys here with me. Yesterday we had lasagna made by my son Mike.

Snow is on the way for today.

SUNSHINE TODAY. This will be a big year for me as I will turn 80 years old.
